- Hi,
-
- I'm doing a research for the availability of C++ on MVS.
- I've got the product information for C/C++ for MVS/ESA from
- IBM. But I'd like to collect some more experiences of
- users.
- If you did or are doing application development on MVS with
- C++, I would greatly appriciate any comments/experiences
- on this environment.
-
- My particular interests are:
-
- + Consistency of the C++ compiler with CSet 2.1 on OS/2?
- In partucular concerning exception handling, templates.
-
- + As far I could see from the IMW web site, there is noc
- collection class library and no UI library. Is this true?
- Are there other collection class libraries on the market?
-
- + What are your impressions of the development environment.
- How usefull is the debugger?
-
- + How easy/difficult is it for somebody used to do C++ development
- on a PC to work with the MVS compiler and debugger?
-
- + What kind of project did you do?
-
-
- Thanks in advance -
-
